Why Is My Newborn Preterm Baby Vomiting After Feeding Dexolac?
Hi doctor, I delivered baby girl with weight 1.870 kg at 35 weeks and 2 days (preterm baby), now baby weight increased to 2.5 kg and baby age is 33 days .Doctor prescribed us dexolac but from last two days on wards she is vomiting seems it’s not digesting ,why ? in the first month we didn’t face any problem like this and also can you tell which is best to use dexolac or nan pro
Both Dexolac and Nanpro are safe and effective infant formulae for babies who are not on breast feed. Choice of one of them will depend on individual preference. Once a while, the vomiting can be there with both of these. However, you may try to replace it with nan pro, as it contains more whey protein, which may be digested earlier & may not cause vomiting to your children. If still, the problem is persistent. You should consult your pediatrician for the same.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
