Why Is My Son's Eye Yellow After Suffering From Croup?
My 21mth son was diagnosed with croup last Tuesday. He's still has a bad barking cough. This morning he woke up with his eyes crusty closed. Yellow crusted. His eyes do not look pink at all I had immediately thought pink eye. But are a lil darker white almost a grey in color

Your son has two problems. Croup and second conjunctivitis .Croup is caused by virus.For that symptomatic treatment is needed. Conjunctivitis is because of same virus.But if eye discharge is yellow in colour the he will require eye drops.Croup takes 8-10 days to become normal.Conjunctivitis takes 3-7 days to cure.Hope this allay your fears
