Why Is My Sugar Level Increasing?
sir good evening
last august i was daignosed with high sugar 490 after that i wa admited to hopital for all check ups and for 2 months i was taking insulin 16units
Now i have consulted a endocrinologist and he has stopped all my medicine and know i am taking only methi water in morning and controlled my diet but just wanted to ask my sugar level in fasting is 100-110 and sometime 95 alo but some time it increases to 165 after having breakfast

what is your weight?
You may have insulin resistance and that cause excess glucose production in liver at night. This will cause morning sugars to rise. You may benefit with taking Metformin at night. I am surprised why your endocrinologist didn't put u on Metformin? Do you have any kidney trouble? Whats your creatinine level?
