Why Is My Tonsil Swollen With White Spots On It?
Hi,
Was just wondering why my left tonsil is swollen and both tonsils have white spots all over them. Much like Strep Throat, but I haven't had any other symptom related to this problem. I have had Strep quite a few times, and this feels nothing like it. Any ideas? Oh, and this has happened a time or two before.

Please dont worry , the white tonsils may not be due to a strep infection , rather it may represent food stuck in the natural pits of your tonsil, this is normal in many people and you dont have to worry unless it causes you trouble in swallowing or throat discomfort. You can gargle with warm salt water after every meal ,it will remove the food particles from the tonsil "pits".
