Why Is My Urethra Too Tight For An Examination Of Bladder?

why was it that my urethra was so tight for an investgation to examine my bladder.?Then it was sucessful to continue to check my kidney through my ureta proved to be too tight so I had to have a stent for 4weeks before they will remove stones from my kidney. Is there a cause for this?

Hi,

Natural ureter may not admit instruments, sheath, scope used during endoscopic removal. Forcing once way may damage it, so its a usual practice to put stent for about 2 weeks and then go in again for stone removal in second sitting.
