Why Is My Vagina Red And Has A Burning Sensation?

Hello, I am unsure if I have a yeast infection or not. I was on an antibiotic and steroids for a virus and laryngitis, it did not get better so they put me on an antibiotic that said it was a antibacterial I m still taking this.the inner parts of my vagina are very red the lips and everything around them, they burn slightly on and off. And I have a watery somewhat clear/ somewhat light yellow, no smell. Also at the clitoris there is a little bit of white stuff coming out around the pores, under the hood. Last time i had that it was a yeast infection but I currently do not have itching.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Probably it is an inflammatory condition.

Consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab done to rule out infections.

As of now, you can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
