Hi Sarah

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Naproxen (Proxen) is NSAID , and the reason for prescription is reduce inflammation .Your sister probable should go for a complete blood tests with bleeding times , and a Dermatologist review. The burning sensation she is feeling is mostly a separate entity related to her underlying cause but not due to the drug.

Please consult your Dermatologist.

Take care.
