Why Is The Swelling, Tenderness And Pain In Knee Cap After An Accident Persistent?

I had a motorbike accident back in February and since then I've had constant swelling on my kneecap and one area is particularly tender to touch literally will leave me in tear if I catch it, I've had 2 x rays done which didn't show any broken bones but it's been 10 months and it's still really painfull what could it be?

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having some muscle and ligament injury at that time and now gives you trouble.
Go for patellar exercise daily, 2-3 times in a day.
Apply crepe bandage or wear. knee cap.
Do not bent knee more than 90 degree.
Do not squat.
Ok and take care.
