Urologist 's  Response
Well u r suffering from recurrent Urinary tract infection. With medication, the duration between two episodes get prolonged, but they recur. But u must rule out precipitating factors like stone disease, diabetes or renal infection. Get ultrasound KUB... uf any pathology is found ,get it treated first. Get Fasting Blood Sugar.. if diabetic it should be controlled.
If precipitating factors r taken care of, ur infection automatically gets cured.
Otherwise continue antibiotics prescribed in low dose for prolonged period, it will help u to keep away the infection.
