Why Is There Irritation On Penis When Partner Uses Nuvaring ?

My girl friend uses the Nuvaring and what we have is when she has it in and we have intercourse I developed a high burning and irritation on my penis followed with inflammation at base of forking and head of penis. I experienced thisbefore with her but I didn t know what caused this irritation and last night sex left me with same symptoms! Please , any advise on treatmentioned would be appreciated

Nuvaring is the contraceptive method used by the female. It contains the female hormone estrogen.

This will not allow ovulation and makes the sperm more difficult to penetrate.

There are some side effects to its use. Some irritation noted to partner also.

The reason for your irritation is likely to be allergic reaction.

The treatment for this problem is you can change the contraceptive to other methods.

You can use condon or oral contraceptives.
