Why Is There No Urine Output In Spite Of Drinking Fluids In My Child?

My 2 year old daughter has a double ear infection. Took her to the doctor on friday. She had been sick with fever , runny nose, cough before dr visit. She also is drinking fluids but she is not urinating. It is now 4pm on sunday and shes hasnt had a dirty diaper yet today. I notice the same issue yesterday. She went all day without urinating.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Decreased intake of fluids, along with increased loss of fluids due to associated fever is the likely cause for decreased urine output.
Maintain her hydration by ensuring good intake of fluid, which should take care of the problem.
If the problem still persists, would suggest you to consult your Pediatrician for further management.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
