Why My 1 Month Baby Is Crying Continuously?

My 1 month old son cries for 2-3 hrs everyday (though not continuously). Doctor has suggested colicaid drop. Is it safe to use it daily & if yes, for how many days at a stretch? Also, should I give him colicaid as he begins to cry or I should wait for some time to see if he stops crying on his own?

Hi,

First of all you should check feeding habit and amount. The baby might be crying due to hunger. Colicaid can be given in abdominal pain. You should give colicaid if you suspect the baby is suffering from abdominal pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Narendra Maurya
