I had unprotected sex with my fiance before some days of my periods date. i took unwanted 72 in 36 hours. my periods date was 21 september. i ahv done pregnancy tests twice. results are negative. till now no periods. i never had delayed periods. i am too worid. pls help me doctor

Hello,

Taking Unwanted-72 pill within 36 hrs of sex gives more than 85% protection against unwanted pregnancy.

However, Unwanted-72 pill can delay your regular period for 1-2 weeks due to hormonal imbalance and mental stress.

I suggest to wait at least one week before repeating the pregnancy test. In case of NEGATIVE test again, you can take progesterone pill to induce period.
