Why No Periods After Unprotected Sex And Taking Postinor 2 Pill ?

After my period stopped, the next day I have unprotected sex then I have taken 2 pills of postinor 2. Then 2 weeks after taking postinor 2, I have unprotected sex n I only took 1 pill. It's more than 2 cycle month n I haven't got my period. Please advise

Hi,
Actually emergensy contraceptive works by shiftng ovulation.
First time you had sex on day 5th-6th (after menses were over) when there was no chance of natural ovulation. The pills taken must have postponed the ovulation to the date of your next unprotected sex (about 20th day of periods ) & this time you took inadequet dose of pills- which possibly
-could not be effective, making conception possible.
- has created hormonal imbalance, thereby disturbing normal menstrual cycle.
In such a case, I would advice you to get Urine pregnancy test/ pelvic sonography done to assess exact position.
* In case you are pregnant ,please get it terminated-to avoid fetal anamolies due to hormones.
* In case there is no pregnancy, you need to wait for normal withdrawal bleeding/ get consultation of a gynecologist for hormonal imbalance.
