Why Should I Take Licab, Fluanxol And Feliz For Anxiety And Depression?
Hello, I have been suffering from anxiety and depression for the past 4 years now and was on paradise 25 mg, but while on it, I never had the feeling of guilt and didn t have emotions as well towards anybody, my doctor has now prescribed me licab 300 mg, fluanxol 0.5 and feliz S EZ 5, could u tell me why she has given me so many as I used to take just paradise 25 mg for 4 years
I can understand your concern. Paradise is Paroxetine which is a SSRI drug. You were on 25 mg doses and were stable on it. Now you have been advised to take Lithium Carbonate, Flupentixole, Escitalopram (Feliz S) for these symptoms.
Feliz S is related to Paradise only as both drugs belong to SSRI drugs. Licab is a mood stabiliser and is used commonly in bipolar disorders. Though you haven't mentioned your symptoms but most likely the drugs have been changed in your case to provide for mood stabilisation. Please consult you psychiatrist again to remove any more doubts.
Thanks, Take care.
