Why The Bladder Is Dumping?

Anything new on bladder control? Recently, last thirty days, I have had three episodes where the bladder just dumped!. If i am not near a restroom and I do not respond to ureter messages it will happen again. I must be ever vigilant!. My PP (primary physician) has prescribed VESIcare, 5mg, once a day at night.

Hi
It seems you have got an overactive bladder.
In most cases no cause can be found on which case it is treated by drugs called anticholinergics (VESICARE is one of them).
Avoid coffee, tea, fizzy drinks, cocoa products and avoid constipation. Ask you PP for an ultrasound of urinary tract and pelvis.

If these are normal than you can try increasing the dose of VESICARE to 10 mg daily. If still symptomatic then you can PP can try you on Mirabegron. If it does not help then you need to be referred to an urologuist for a test called urodynamics and consider Botox injection into the bladder.
