Why The Child Started Pulling Back On One Leg And Not Walking Well?

My granddaughter just turned a year and she had been walking holding our hands with her fingers and doing very well. Recently she started pulling back on one leg and not walking well and then going to the floor. Is this something we should go to a doctor to see or is there another explaination?? Thank you.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...by what you quote I feel it could be an infantile hemiplegia. I feel that she should definitely be neurologically evaluated by a pediatrician. I suggest you consult her pediatrician.
