Why There Is Swelling In Hands, Feet And Face And Are Ice Cold?

I ve been getting sporadic patches of goosebumps through my extremities when I walk outside in the heat and recently I ve noticed my hands, feet and face are swollen and are ice cold most of the time. It all just started within the past 3 weeks with no illness or injury. What could this be?

Hello,

The feeling of coldness in the extremities can be due to stress, anxiety, low levels of vitamin B12 or decreased fluid intake. You can get a few blood tests done to find the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
