Why Uterine Tuberculosis Is Taking Time To Cure Even After Taking Medication?

Hi,I was diagnosed with uterine tuberlosis over one and a half years ago. I have been taking RCinex 600, Combutal 1000mg, Banadon 40 mg for 9 months but my recent test again came out positive for TB. My doctor has advised me to continue my medicine for another 3 months. Please advice what should I do.Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Do continue the medications.
2. If not sure, get a culture and sensitivity test, if lesion can be biopsied.
3. Commonly resistance to drugs, are common causes. There are very few medications, which can be given safely for a long time. Do continue the treatment. Repeat test after three months or get a drug sensitivity report done.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
