Why Will A ADHD Patient Forget Few Of Past Things?

hi I am 14 and i have ADHD, I take Ritalin La medicine for it i'm in 9th grade but in 2nd and 3d grade i was diagnosed with it and i cant remember anything from those 2 year but i remember 1st,4th, 5th, 6th, 7th 8th and 9th so why would i forget those two years?

Long term memory also depends on the retrieval strategies which are adopted. Maybe your coding skills for the memory were not up to the mark in those years which is common with ADHD. After the treatment started you have better coding and decoding skills for memory.
