Why Would One Drag His Feet While Walking After A Concussion Caused By A Fall?

I was diagnosed with a mild concussion after a fall in the end of June. I have had balance issues before the fall. It s been about 28 days since fall. I have noticed when walking I am dragging my feet and inability to stop walking quickly. I have an appt with my Neurologist Aug. 24. Is there anything I should be doing before that appt.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to a possible head injury.
Consult a neurosurgeon and get evaluated. A CT scan is required for further assessment.
Injury to peripheral nerves can also cause similar symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
