Will 5 Sachets Of D3 Is Sufficient To Improve Vitamin D Levels?
Dear Doctor, It all strated with knee pain, doc suggested D3 uprise without any test. Not much improvement after 2 doses.Met another doc and got all sorts of tests done.Vit B12 was 151 pg/ml. and D was 72.6nmol/L after having 2 sachets that is 120000 I .U of D3 uprise. The doc asked me to take 2 more sachets and D3 uprise and then stop. No mention of sunlight exposure etc. I took sunlight off and on. To improbe b12 i was put on injections, i still am alternate days, have taken 12 injections already, in between there was some gap though. I need to know will 5 sachets in total that I have taken of D3 sufficient to improve my vit D levels. 72.6nmol/L was the result after 2 sachets. First doc had asked me to take 8 sachets of 60k IU each for 8 weeks but after the test result as per second doc I had to stop after 5 sachets
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, you are treated for deficiency problems, the other causes may be the rheumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis etc. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have a C.T. scan for confirmation. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically, calcium supplements, and pain killers. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and and sea foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
