Will Duphastan Have Any Adverse Impact On The Baby S Mental And Physical Growth?

Hi Doctor, I recently missed my period and consulted the dr. Doctor asked me to do the bllod test and confirmed that i m 5 weeks pregnent and prescribed me to take folic acid and another pregnancy tablet. On the next day she did scan and told me that my baby s heart beat is low and advised me to take duphston -4 times daily for one month.... I m really worried now ... what s the reason for the heart beat ? will there be an impact of duphastan on my baby s mental and physical growth.? i just wanted to know whether my pregnency is normal ???? please advise....

Hi,

Please consult a gynecologist. Duphaston is not usually prescribed, moreover, not in pregnancy. As your hCG and ultrasonography reports are not mentioned in history, regular check-up with an OBGYN specialist is needed. Eat more fruits, drink adequate water, do some guided meditation, Art of Living sahaj meditation course is good in pregnancy and is proved scientifically also.
