Will Orajel Treat Big White Bumps On A Child's Tongue?

My 4 year old son was crying while he was sleeping and in the morning when I looked under his tongue I saw 2 big whitish bumps/lumpsk I guess you would call it. They're very painful when he eats or drinks. What can I do to help ease the pain? Would Oragel help? Should I take him in to see the doctor or dentist?

These could be more likely apthous ulcer, which are painful small ulcer seen in oral cavity.
I would suggest you the following
1. Multivitamin syrup
2. Local anaesthetic application like Benzocaine will be helpful
