Will Progesterone And Fertigyn Cover My Miscarriage?

Hello,
According to my LMP, I should be 6W 2D preg, But my scan shows I am now 5W1D preg. I had the same issue with my previous pregnancy an yr back and had missed miscarriage when I was 7W. But, this time my Doc put me on Progesterone 200mg twice a day and fertigyn 5000 units injection once a week when i was 4w 3d preg. According to my last weeks blood check for HCG level, it has doubled up in 48hrs. Can you pls let me know if these medication covers my miscarriage? Does it affect my baby in future if everything goes well?

Hello
You are advised to take progesterone 200 mg and fertgyn 5000 IU .
Your HCG level doubled within 48 hours .
You want to know ,if these measures would be able to cover your miscarriage ( Able to prevent miscarriage i.e. abortion) .
It depend on many factors , what is the main cause of miscarriage like therapeutic , or the size of endometrium or inadequate release of progesterone etc.
The main aim of fertigyn identical actions as LH , it surge that promote the development & maintenance of the corpus luteum & the production of progesterone .
Same role is of progesterone .
So in my opinion these two drugs will help to prevent abortion .
