Will UTI Cause To Change Urine Sugar Level?

What does it mean that I had sugar in my urine culture when I had a uti? I have been checking my blood sugar level(fasting) for few days and it has been 98. 2 hrs After I had lunch today I checked it again and it was 102. My lunch was soup and crackers.

Hi,

It is possible you are a pre-diabetic and your sugar goes up when there is an infection. Alternately, sometimes reducing substances like vitamin C can cause false positive indication of sugar in urine.
