Will Urinary Tract Infection Cause Fever, Frequent Urination, Pain While Urinating?

i was just wondering if a UTI is contagious by mouth. my husband thinks he has one, and my son has drank after him. also our dr is closed for the night, should he go to hospital tonight or can he wait for in the morning? he has a slight fever, chills, frequent urination, pain while urinating, but hasn t vomited. thank you!

His symptoms sound like a UTI, but it is not contagious by mouth.
I would go to the doctor urgently if he is having a high fever.
If not then he can wait unitl the morning.
