Will A Cardiac Workout Help Treat Problems Related To Shortness Of Breath?

My mother just lost her husband of 58 years and while at the hospital, she was very SOB with walking the halls of the hospital and is SOB with climbing the 2 flights of stairs in her house. She is overweight, but I wonder if she could benefit from a good cardiac workup?

Hi,

Good cardiac workup will help her to keep positive cope up with the current issue, but she requires definite evaluation with a stress test, 2D echo, cholesterol tests, X-ray chest to find out the root cause and treat accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
