Will Balance Problems Improve With Improvement In Sinus Condition?

I have had allergies all spring and have now gotten and am taking medicine for a sinus infection. My sinus is feeling better but I also am having balance problems. I m not dizzy but do seem to stagger and go diagonally often when I intend to go straight. I m 83. Will this clear up as my sinus condition gets better?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having balance problems and sinus infection.
My response to your question is as follows.

The balance problems indicate involvement of the inner ear in the form of vestibular involvement. Sinus infection is not directly related to this.

Hence this requires evaluation and treatment accordingly after examination by a ENT doctor.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for any further questions and I will be happy to answer and assist you.
