Hi,

Duromine capsules contain the active ingredient, phentermine. Phentermine is combined with a resin which slowly releases the drug and lasts longer. Little is known about phentermine use and its effect on a developing baby or pregnant women

Pregnancies with exposure to Duramine are kept in category B2. Drugs which have been taken by only a limited number of pregnant women and women of childbearing age, without an increase in the frequency of malformation or other direct or indirect harmful effects on the human fetus having been observed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
