Will Endometrial Lining Problem Cause Complications With Trying To Conceive?

Hi doctor,
I'm on TTC from 8 months .. Have pcos. Had been on gonalf injections once but it resulted in mid cycle bleeding though the endometrium maintained at 10 mm.. The doctor told that my endometrium is not three layered. Now on ovisterone and myocyst medicines twice daily. Please let me knw weather the endometrium problem will lead to complications? And what are my chances of getting pregnant

Hi,
An optimum of 6-8 mm. of endometrium is sufficient to conceive naturally and going by these standards, you have thicker endometrium. This should not be a problem because good fertility rates have been recorded even with a thicker endometrium. You have pretty good chances of conception, but please be patient. The optimum endometrial thickness essential during IVF and IUI is about 6-14 mm. and so, your chances are very good. Hope this helps.
