Will Fever In A 1 Yr Old Go Away After Taking Meftal P & Crocin?

My son is 1 year old. For the last 4 days he is suffering from 101 to 102.5 fever, loose motions . I consulted his Doctor, he said that it is a viral. I am giving him meftal p and crocin. He has got indigestion. For indigestion I am giving him 5 ml vizylac twice a day. When will his fever go away?

Hi,
From history it seems that your son might be having acute gastro-enteritis.
He might require one course of antibiotic medicine.
Consult your doctor if problem persisted.
Give enough water, electrolytes and ORS liquid.
Ok and take care.
