Will Having Meat In My Diet Increase Protein And Reduce Carbs?

I am considering switching from a vegetarian to an omnivore lifestyle because I have been tired and unhappy for the few years I have been vegetarian. A friend pointed out that I may just need iron in my diet. Another thing I am considering is that I have actually gained weight as well, due to my increased consumption of carbs. So if it's hard for me to get protein, which makes me eat carbs, which make me lifeless, mopy, and fat, could integrating meat into my diet help?

Hi
Thank you for posting your query in HCM. I had gone through your question I understand your concerns.
I would suggest you have both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods. combination of meat with vegetables gives you all nutrients required for the body.having alone meat or vegetables will not meet the required nutrients in the body for normal functioning. Avoid mutton, have chicken , fish. Avoid white rice, pasta, white sugar, jaggety, honey, deep fried foods, junk and oily foods. Carbohydrates are required , complete cut down of it leads low blood sugars in the body this will cause giddiness, lethargy. Combination of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats is required. Get regular physical activities like brisk walking, running, swimming.
Hope i have answered your question if you have further questions i will be happy to help.
