Will I Get Genital Warts During A Protected Sex?

hi, i met this guy and we have gone on a few dates.. not yet slept together.. he mentioned that 4 years ago he ahd gotten genital warts from his now ex girlfriend.. he had them burnt off and has not had an outbreak since... if i sleep with him of course using protection.. how high of a risk am i taking? i guess what i am asking is will i get genital warts?

if those were not burnt properly, then you will be at risk of getting them even if he is not having any active lesion. Better use protection everytime, or else abstain from sexual contact.
