Hi i hv alrdy tkn 20-30 i pill/unwanted 72 in the year of 2012-13.shall it hrm my hlth in future? Shoud i cn concv? Nd wat is my hlthcndition ri8 now? Wat shd i hv to do? If u thnk dt my hlth cndition is nt going well?my periods is going nrml.bt whn i am tkng ds pills at de time of period or before periods its delayd fr sm dys.aftr dt i m fcing nrml period.plz tl me wat i hv to do.smtimes im flng trd n week.im a chn smoker also.am i feeling ds prblms fr only smoking or for tkng too much pill.plz gv me your sugtn.

Hi,

Unwanted 72 (0.75 MG) Tablet belongs to the category of progestins.It is used as an emergency contraceptive.

Please use it as an emergency measure only with unplanned sudden sexual exposure.

This medicine helps in preventing pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of an unprotected intercourse or failure of the usual method of contraception.

Being an oral pill, Unwanted 72 contains the manufactured progestin hormone Levonorgestrel and prevents fertilization or pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation.

High levels of these hormones prevent the next cycle and endometrial shedding.

For routine use, other OC Pills should be used which your gynecologist will prescribe.

Discontinuation of all oral contraceptives restore fertility and there are no ill after effects. Yes, smoking has an adverse effect on fertility and please quit.
