Will It Be Safe To Take Cotrimoxazole For Loose Bowel Movements?

My daughters lab result says RBC (0-1), Pus Cells (1-3), Fats (Few), Bacteria (Many), Parasites (E. Histolytica Cyst: 0-1/hpf. She has loose bowel movement and does not want to eat because she is complaining of full stomach and stomach ache. She is 5 years old. Can she be given Cotrimoxazole? I remember having given her that before when she had the same symptoms under our doctor's advice. Our doctor is not around this time. Please help...

* This is in relation with intestine infection .

* Recommendations for better recovery

- Clotrimoxazole is not recommended as there is stomach ache , which
may be aggravated by it .
- Give plenty of liquids .
- Soft , light diet preferable with fresh curd .
- Antibiotic with metronidazole on pack , pro biotics with lacto bacillus ,
anti spasmodic as drotaverine or dicyclomine will give best results .
