Will Lump On Child's Eye Heal With Ciplox Eye Ointment?

my 3 1/2 years child was hit on his left eye by his friend and after that i saw a small lump inside his upper eye lid.i was told by d doctor that he is having chalazeon and he gave CIPLOX EYE OINTMENT and MILFLOX EYE DROP.will it go away by applying this?i read from internet that warm compress is good but as it is much inside will i put the warmth on the upper eye lid only(outside).pls answer
