Will My Ear Recover After Being Fully Blocked By A Surgery?

i am 52 years old. 30 years ago i had micro surgery in my left ear. Now it is fully blocked, no more sound. When i wear head phone, i hear the sound in another ear. The other ear is slightly impaired. An ENT doctor tested me via audiogram and precribed me to wear a hearing aid, surgery for other ear is not possible for me. I have mild engine sound or ringing sound in my left ear. Any possibility for the operated ear to recover?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is damaged done the to anatomical structure of the ear which is important for hearing then this may not be possible to revert the condition but you need to use the hearing aid only if this is not the case then this can be repaired again but you need to consult the institute which takes this cases, hope this information helps, take care.
