Will New Growth Of Teeth Cause Low Grade Fever?

My 16mn old keeps grabing his tounge, and putting his hands over his ears, he already has alot of teeth, but he has not done this b4 with all his other teeth coming in,he has also been running a low grade fever on and off for two days, not sure if its his teeth but he does naw on his fingers alot.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Low grade fevers are frequently seen in children who are teething, as it is in your son's case. If the fever reaches 101F or higher, it is worth a consult with your doctor, just to be safe. Otherwise, there is nothing to be worried about.
