Will Regestrone Tablet Help To Get My Periods? How Many Days Should I Wait For It?

Hi, My friend periods are 11 days delayed. Took I-pill after unprotected sex.Urine preg. tests are negative(tried twice). I consulted gyn. doctor and she advised regestrone table for 3 days- thrice a day. Will it help?
how many days she need wait for her periods as she is very disturbed.PLEASE ADVISE

Hello....from the history you have given, yes regestrone will cause withdrawal bleeding....Number of days required for the menustration to start is individualised, but usually the bleeding occurs within 7 to 10 days....Some women also get they periods in a day or 2 days after stopping the medication....hope i was helpful to you. ...
