Post pregnancy weight loss is tricky. You cannot cut down on your diet as it will adversely effect the milk production for your baby. So you should be selective about diet. You should make sure you take sufficient amount of calories in contrast to your regular work out diet and you should also take diet rich in Iron and vitamins. However you can cut down on fatty diet. Regarding exercises it depends on whether your delivery is a Caesarian Section or a normal vaginal delivery. If you underwent a C section better to avoid abdominal exercises and stretching exercises for at least 6 months. If it is normal delivery you are free to do all regular exercises starting from 3 eeks post delivery.
