Hi Dr. Smauel. I have a question about cigarettes. I used to smoke and now I have cigarettes on rare occasions (few of them per year), but sometimes I don't smoke just few, but a pack in a day and then I stop with ciggarttes again for several months. Usually when I smoke heavily after such a long time of not smoking any, I will always get soar throat and burning when I urinate. Is it possible that cigarettes cause that burning in urine, or is it by coincidence when last time the burning in the urine happened it was when I smoked several packs of cigarettes as well? I was always sensitive to cigarettes, I used to have several times per year bronchitis because of that, even once I had pneumonia twice in a month caused by cigarettes.
Thank you.
