Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Please share with us the lab reports of prolactin and testosterone. Surgery wont change your hormonal parameters - but will give a cosmetic solution to gynaecomastia. Probably your gynaecomastia is of long duration so that medical management is not useful in reducing it. That may be the reason why your Endo have suggested you sugery.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
With warm regards,
Dr Ajish TP (MD,DM)
