Will Taking Antibiotics And Antihistamine Harm Baby?
my sister now pregnant for 2 months. the last period is end of july, but start of august, she having a bad cough and sore throat, so she taking over the counter drug- syrup for cough, antibiotics for sore throat and antihistamine for runny nose (all cant remember the drug name). will this drug affect the baby?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that during the pregnancy it is not advisable to give any medicine to the mother it may be dangerous to the baby particularly during the organogenesis, medicine can only be given when it is highly indicated and should be given under the medical supervision, take care and have a nice day.
