Will Taking Duoloton L To Stop Heavy Bleeding ?

Hi, I have undergone a D & C procedure with EB on 8th Jan 2014, due to heavy bleeding since Oct 28th 2013. However, the bleeding has not stopped even after the procedure. My doctor has asked me to take duoloton L from 13th Jan and has informed that the bleeding would stop by 16th. However, still my bleeding is heavy. The biopsy report has shown nornmal results with no pathology. Also internal sonography conducted before D & C has shown no existence of PCOD or follicular imbalance. I am a little worried about the bleeding.

Hi,

You can wait for 7 to 10 days for the bleeding to stop, before visiting your physician. Pain killers like ibuprofen can be taken along with the drug since it is useful in reducing the bleeding by inhibiting prostaglandins.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
