Will Taking Medication During Pregnancy Cause Any Harm In Growth Of The Fetus?

Hi, Iam in 10th week of my pregnancy, recently (in 8th week) i got typhoid and got treated with Monocef etc. So, after 10-15 days from my recovery from typhoid i reached my OBGYN and now she prescribed Pulmocef with folic acid tabs and some iron tabs of about 15 day course and told after that to do Ultrasound scan. So my doubt is there is any problem for fetus growth and after delivery to baby in the future or etc or what, please clarify my doubt, really getting tensed by this situation !!!

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion monocef is a cephalosporin and cephalosporin can be safely given in pregnancy. It has no adverse effects on fetus. All other medicines prescribed by your
doctor are safer ones with no untoward effects on fetus in future.Dont worry.
