Will Taking Meprate Cause Problems On Future Pregnancy?

I had an abortion on Aug 25th. I did not get my periods in Sep. Hence i consumed Meprate for 5 days - 10 tablets. and got my periods(?) on Oct 8th. But again in november im not getting my periods. I had un-protected sex. Tested using card at home but the result was not so clear. What should i do now?. Will the meprate which i had taken will have any effects on my future pregnancy, which im planning after a year?

Hi,

Meprate taken at during pregnant state has bad effect on the pregnancy. It's not known to affect future pregnancies. I would suggest for getting checked physically as well as USG scanning of pelvis to find out cause of menstrual irregularity you have especially in the context of the possibility of pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
