Will The Bed Wetting Problem Of Child Get Cured If Ureter Is Stretched?
my neice is almost 11 years old. She has been wetting the bed since birth.Her mom states that the urine odor is strong. Both her mom and aunt (sisters), around the age of 8 had their ureters stretched and that cured the problem. Since she lives with her dad (8 hours away), what can be done to help her

Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Bed wetting is a common problem in children.
Do not give fluids after 6pm.
Finish dinner by 6 pm.
See that he passes urine before going to bed.
Whenever you get up in the night ,wake him up and make him pass urine.
Do not blame him in public if wets bed.
Appreciate and reward him if he does not wet his bed.
You may try Imipramine hydrochloride 25 mg at bed time for 6-8 weeks.
