Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Will The Intake Of C4 Protein Shake Cause Tingling Sensation In Body?
I am a 35 year old male and recently started working out and drinking c4 protein shake after each workout. I mix it with water. I've noticed a tingling feeling throughout my whole body after drinking it. I've never noticed with this any other protein shake. What does this mean and should I stop taking it?
Hello, The tingly feeling is natural and is advertised on their website like this: The tingly sensation you feel as it travels through your body is most likely due to the inclusion of beta-alanine in the formulation.
This particular feeling is not "dangerous", however there is a huge warning box on the website for this product you might want to review before you take this supplement.
Hi There! If you read the ad they have on the website it states this: "The tingly sensation you feel as it travels through your body" is to be expected and is the result of the beta-alanine in this product.
Please go to the website and review the warnings and drug-interactions prior to taking this.
I just want you to be safe, preferably under the supervision of a Dietitian/Doctor when it comes to adding supplements.
Be Safe. Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
