Will There Be Any Side Effect Of Taking Polio Medication Instead Of Hepatitis B ?

My seven week old daughter's doctor just called after we left his office. He told us that my daughters received 2 shots of the polio vaccine instead of getting the Hep B shot. Will getting a double dose of the polio vaccine cause any harm or side effects to her?

Hello. Thank you for your question. This error occurs occasionally. It is truly harmless. Though it is important for your baby to get the Hepatitis B vaccine that was missed, a second dose of polio cannot do harm. You have nothing to worry about.
